What does it do?

Routines are built in blocks, from straight sets to Tabata, and each player sees the weight already worked out: %RM × their 1RM = kg on screen. Or just attach your plan. It helps your staff:

  • Build a routine in blocks, fast
  • Mix supersets, circuits and Tabata
  • Turn %RM into kg per player automatically
  • Attach a PDF, Excel, Word or image, open full screen
  • Check every player’s execution logs in the panel

The fewer sums a player does in the gym, the more attention is left for each lift, and the session flows.

SquadStats web app: routine library with %RM per exercise

How a Routine Connects to Load

On completing a routine the player can report their perceived exertion (RPE), and that load enters the ACWR like any other session. The gym is not a blind spot in the training load: what the player lifted counts alongside the pitch work and matches every week as well.

%RM to kg

The block builder covers the formats the S&C staff already uses: straight sets, supersets, circuits, EMOM, AMRAP, for time and Tabata. Each exercise can be set as a percentage of the 1RM, and the app multiplies it by that player’s own 1RM, so two players on the same routine each see their own kg on screen without doing any calculation.

Attached

Not every plan needs to be rebuilt: the routine can simply be a file attached as PDF, Excel, Word or an image, and the player opens it in a full-screen viewer inside the app. The club’s library keeps both kinds side by side, built routines and attached plans, ready to be handed over.

Assigned routines reach the player with a push notification, and they appear in the quick links of the app’s home screen, next to the team’s next event. The staff sees each player’s execution logs, so they know who completed the routine and how, without asking in the group chat or in the gym the day after.

The player sees the weight, not the sum: %RM × their 1RM = kg on screen, while the staff reads the execution log in the web panel afterwards.

What changes for you

Most staff send the gym plan as a PDF in a group chat and hope each player works out their own weights. Routines build the session in blocks, from straight sets to EMOM, AMRAP and Tabata, convert %RM into kg for every player, accept PDF, Excel, Word and image attachments with a full-screen viewer, show the staff each player’s execution log and feed the RPE into the ACWR.
