From the tag to the explained clip: review every action over the match video, draw on it to explain the play and share it in playlists.

Tagging does not stop at the statistic: every marked action is a clip you can review, explain and share. Telestration: draw over the video — arrows, lines, circles, text and a spotlight that darkens everything but the area you point at — to explain the play without leaving SquadStats. Playlists: group the cuts into folders by play type (goals, turnovers, set pieces… whatever your club defines), each with the thumbnail of the exact moment — perfect for a “watch these 6 plays of yours”. And the match files (team sheets, reports) live on the fixture’s record, next to its playlists.

Folders by play type with a real thumbnail of the clip; viewing is the default mode and editing is a separate button.

Team sheets and match reports on the fixture’s record, next to the playlists — not scattered between email and shared folders.

Technical detail

The industry-standard tool set (the same language as Hudl Studio or KlipDraw): select · arrow · line · circle · spotlight · rect · text. Drawing mode is off by default — you never draw by accident while reviewing — and undo/clear-all appear whenever the play has drawings. In playlists, the order you see the list in and the playback order are the same function: they never contradict each other. Thumbnails are captured from the real frame of your own video; with YouTube videos the official thumbnail is used as a fallback.
